Where to park w/ car during the ride?
Parking will be available on the streets of Baxter (stay tuned for more details) for the weekend adventure. Check in and new registration will take place at the Baxter trailhead with check and registration from 8 am - 10 am.
Is there a shuttle service back to the starting location on Saturday night?
The Pedaler's Jamboree does not organize a bus shuttle service for riders who would like to get back to the starting location on Saturday night.
Who will be leading the ride?
Whoever wants to be the first person to leave registration will be the leader! It's all on the Trail, so as long as you stay on the trail you will find yourself in the overnight town! We are expecting over 1,000 participants, so everyone should have someone new to ride with. It's such a relaxed-pace ride that it will be hard to be left in the back!
What items do I need for the ride & during the night?
Items needed for the ride: We recommend bringing cash (since most small towns and vendors on the trail don't take credit!), water, sunscreen, snacks, and whatever else might come in handy for a day of riding and relaxing. For night time, bring a tent, sleeping bag, and change of clothes.
Is it happening rain or shine?
Rain or shine, the show will go on!
Are camp fires allowed at the camping area?
No campfires will be allowed at the city parks.
Where will we be camping in the overnight?
Bondurant Recreational Sports Complex - 2050 Jr Haines Pkwy, Bondurant, IA 50035 . PLEASE NO FIRES.
Are showers available at the camping area?
The Athletic and Fine Arts Booster Clubs will host the Bondurant Middle School showers. The showers will be offered as Free Will Donation with a suggested $3 donation. Towels will not be available. Soap and shampoo samples will be available until supply runs out … first come, first served. There are 10 Women and 10 Men showers. Showers will be open Saturday (8/25) 3 pm-8 pm and Sunday (8/26) 7 am-9 a
Are there cycling jerseys available for purchase for this year's ride?
Yes! Available in the overnight party.
Where can I purchase food/beverages on the bike ride?
There will be food and beverage vendors at most venues along the route. Please bring cash for vendors on the trail!
How many bags can I bring on the transport service?
We kindly request that you limit the number of bags that you bring on the event. Large tents are allowed but please don't exhaust our transport crew by bringing overly large and heavy items. Coolers are not allowed (special exceptions will be made for individuals with allergies or food restrictions).
I am staying at a Hotel and would like to have my geared dropped off at a the hotel location. Can I have my bags dropped off for me?
We aren't offering a hotel bag drop off option this year but are offering a free bus shuttle to hotels for people and gear from the camp grounds.
Will there be a sag service in case we can't complete the bike ride to the overnight town?
We will have an emergency transport service for riders unable to complete the daily ride. Sag support includes a ride into the overnight town or back to the start (on Sunday). For emergency support call - (573) 234-4642

RV and Camper reservations: There are 20+ RV spots available through the Bondurant Little League. Spots are $16/rv (there are no services). Online registration is now open for $16/spot. Click here to reserve a spot.
